About Us
Since our founding in 1998, Living Yoga has worked to dismantle and breakdown stereotypes or misperceptions regarding marginalized populations. In the last twelve years we have increased our programming to target populations that may later face incarceration—if intervention and prevention tools were not provided.
Beginning in 2001 we have focused our programming on Youth and Adults who are in drug and alcohol recovery, incarcerated, or are accessing community transitional services. In expanding our program delivery to include more populations, our goals are to provide preventative services and create opportunities for access to safe, supportive, and healthy community—the yoga community.
In 2010, we managed and coordinated 16 programs and provided area nonprofits and government organizations nearly 900 yoga classes.
Without the commitment and service of our community, we would not be able to reach youth and at the following locations:

- Coffee Creek Correctional Medium Facility
