Continuing Education: Breathwork, Meditation, and Mindfulness

Ever wonder how to teach safe and simple breathing and meditation practices into an asana practices? In this class we will explore mindfulness basics and discuss how to weave then into your class plan.

Continuing Education: Yoga and Trauma Healing

In this class Emilee Coulter-Thompson (MSW RYT) will present an overview of trauma and it's impact on the body and mind. We will explore ways that yoga can support trauma healing. Vital information for Living Yoga volunteers, yoga teacher or anyone with a yoga practice.

Emilee has over a decade of experience working with trauma survivors and as an avocate of survivors of sexual assault. She has been a long time Living Yoga volunteer and volunteer trainer.

Living Yoga Orientation

Limited to 25 participants

In order to attend, you must have submitted a completed Living Yoga application and have registered with Nancy (phone: 503-546-1269/email: nancy@living-yoga.org) Tuition is $120; a $20 non-refundable deposit is required to register.

The next training is scheduled for February 10-12. The schedule is Friday 6-8:30 pm, Saturday 12:00-5:30 and Sunday 12:00-3:30.

Volunteer Appreciation: Restorative Yoga

Living Yoga gives thanks to our volunteers! Join us for a restorative yoga class led by Liz Eisman on Sunday December 11 from 4-6 pm. This class is open to active Living Yoga volunteers only; teachers, committee members, office volunteers are all welcome. If you are contributing to Living Yoga we wnt you there.
