Volunteer Opportunities

Today, our volunteer teachers provide more than 8,500 student/hours of classes each year to men, women and teens at:

Coffee Creek Correctional Facility for Women ~ (2 classes/week in minimum security, 2 classes/week in medium security,
and 1 class per quarter with Girl Scouts Beyond Bars).
DePaul Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center for Adults ~ (2 classes per week for women, 2 classes per week for men).
DePaul Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center for Teens ~ (1 class for boys, 1 class for girls).
*Oregon State Penitentiary ~ maximum security prison for men
*Girl Scouts Beyond Bars ~ a Girl Scout troop for girls whose moms are incarcerated.
*Healing Roots Center ~ a domestic violence resource for African-American women.
*Center for Family Success ~ a resource focused on parenting skills for parents transitioning out of the criminal justice system.
*SUN/Metropolitan Family Services HOI ~ a low-income housing community in East county.
